A Night of Mystery

{Small 6" Tiered Cake}

Anyone up for a little mystery? Our client did. She decided to celebrate her 21st birthday with a Masquerade Theme. We don't normally make tiered or 'large' cakes [by that, we meant anything larger than a 4" cake or a cupcake]. However on this day, we made an exception because she was my sister's friend and the birthday girl really wanted a tiered cake for her birthday bash.

{Blue, Pink, Yellow and White Theme}

{Each Cupcake is customized individually}

For this event, we customized a set of 30 fondant cupcakes and a small 6" tiered fondant cake. Happy 21th Birthday Missy!

Beach on Cupcakes

Normally when we start customizing cupcakes, we'll try to draw as much inspirations from the client as possible. What he or she likes, what they dislike, etc.

In this case, this client wanted to order a set of cupcakes for her boyfriend's birthday. She was very generous in sharing details about their love of things and we're glad that she did, because it allowed us to create this storyline of cupcakes that is very personal to both her and her boyfriend.

To Alvin, you are indeed one very lucky guy Mister! ;)
PS: Did I mention that they have a cute salt n' pepper schnauzer?

No it's not CNY

If your grandfather is anything as traditional as mine, then he would only have red on his cake. Our client apparently has a grandfather like mine because she requested for some very red cupcakes for his 90th birthday. We made traditional peaches to signify longevity and little Koi fishes for good luck.

Now all that is left to wonder is his reaction when he sees these cupcakes instead of a whole birthday cake.
