Full Month Packages

Celebrating a baby turning one month old is still a tradition held by Singaporeans. It is a way to welcome a new baby, announcing its arrival to friends and families and also to shower the little one with blessings.

In Singapore, many new parents are replacing the old tradition of distributing eggs and cakes with buffets or parties. Both ways are wonderful. Over the years, we have received inquiries about our full month packages and we were never able to provide our customers with a standard full month package.

So, in conjuction with the New Year, we are launching our full month cupcake packages in 3 different designs to choose from.

Our packages comes 6 large cupcakes. You may also choose to substitute two of the cupcakes for red eggs if you wish. We require a minimum order of 8 boxes for our full month packages.

Each box also comes with a tag that you can personalize with your baby's name.

A little angel just came today to drop off a special delivery.

With coordinating tags.

And how could we forget all who are born in the year of the Bunny.

A Night of Mystery

{Small 6" Tiered Cake}

Anyone up for a little mystery? Our client did. She decided to celebrate her 21st birthday with a Masquerade Theme. We don't normally make tiered or 'large' cakes [by that, we meant anything larger than a 4" cake or a cupcake]. However on this day, we made an exception because she was my sister's friend and the birthday girl really wanted a tiered cake for her birthday bash.

{Masks on our cupcakes}

{Blue, Pink, Yellow and White Theme}

{Each Cupcake is customized individually}

For this event, we customized a set of 30 fondant cupcakes and a small 6" tiered fondant cake. Happy 21th Birthday Missy!

Beach on Cupcakes

Normally when we start customizing cupcakes, we'll try to draw as much inspirations from the client as possible. What he or she likes, what they dislike, etc.

In this case, this client wanted to order a set of cupcakes for her boyfriend's birthday. She was very generous in sharing details about their love of things and we're glad that she did, because it allowed us to create this storyline of cupcakes that is very personal to both her and her boyfriend.

To Alvin, you are indeed one very lucky guy Mister! ;)
PS: Did I mention that they have a cute salt n' pepper schnauzer?

No it's not CNY

If your grandfather is anything as traditional as mine, then he would only have red on his cake. Our client apparently has a grandfather like mine because she requested for some very red cupcakes for his 90th birthday. We made traditional peaches to signify longevity and little Koi fishes for good luck.

Now all that is left to wonder is his reaction when he sees these cupcakes instead of a whole birthday cake.

Wedding Cupcakes with Initials

In case you are wondering, we are still alive. Yes! we did have a two week break in June but business is in full swing and it has been all work and no play. Hmmmm........actually, we did have fun designing and making the fondant cupcakes.

Our first back-on-the-job cupcakes were a set of wedding cupcakes. The bride wanted pink buttercream cupcakes. To dress it up, we made a cupcake label with the couple's initials and the flavor of the different cupcakes. She had us delivered it to her church where she served her guests the mini cupcakes as they finished the ceremony.

{Initials in front and flavors at the back}

{Four different flavored cupcakes in pink frosting}

{In a box, all ready to go}

Sweet Wedding Bliss

Wonder what to give to friends and relatives as a wedding favor? Do not want to give them things that you know they won't use? How about something different? Something pretty and edible too!

That is what we've made for a recent bride who was getting married in another country. Her colleagues were not able to be present at her wedding, so the sweet gal ordered cupcake favors for them as a token of appreciation for their best wishes and to let them know that they have not been forgotten.

And so with that in mind, we've packed these pretty cupcakes individually and added a 'Thank you" tag for her.

Ala Indo

We have been making mostly Western desserts so it was a nice change to do something Asian for once. Last week, we prepared a high tea spread of Indonesian/Malaysian finger food and dessert for a birthday celebration. Theme colors were purple, green and yellow. Take a look at the pictures.

{High Tea was held at home, on a round table. We provided all the decoration}

{Main Course: Nasi Kuning with Chicken Rendang, Emping, Vegetables and Sliced Eggs}

{Nasi Kuning packed in individual portions for easy picking. All meat and vegetables are packed inside}

{Sop Merah or Tomato Soup: refreshing & great tasting}

{Resoles or Indonesian Fried Popiah}

{Kembang Goyang}

{Pisang Goreng, always a "hot" favorite}

{Sago Gula Melaka topped with Coconut Cream}

{Klepon: Glutinous balls filled with sweet Gula Melaka}

{What is a birthday without a cake? Two layered fondant covered coffee walnut cake}

{Royal Icing Flower Details}
