Sweet Wedding Bliss

Wonder what to give to friends and relatives as a wedding favor? Do not want to give them things that you know they won't use? How about something different? Something pretty and edible too!

That is what we've made for a recent bride who was getting married in another country. Her colleagues were not able to be present at her wedding, so the sweet gal ordered cupcake favors for them as a token of appreciation for their best wishes and to let them know that they have not been forgotten.

And so with that in mind, we've packed these pretty cupcakes individually and added a 'Thank you" tag for her.

Green with Envy....

You might think that the cupcakes below were for a green environmental event. But no, they are actually an order for a spa's anniversary. The cupcakes were done in their corporate colors thus the light and dark green.

I like to think of them as an environmetally friendly spa so I guess, green is also for environmental friendly. We absolutely love how the little mini cupcakes look when they are placed together.

Cycling Citylights

Sometimes, I feel like we are on one of those reality shows which brings on more and more difficult challenges as the weeks progress. But instead of Project Runway, it is called "Project Baking". A customer gave us a challenging theme: Pink & Cycling. This is how we translated her request.

She got back to me later that day, saying that her friend (the birthday girl) loved the cupcakes. Nothing beats knowing that all the hard work has paid off. While out celebrating her birthday, they (the cupcakes.....erm..and the girls too I'm sure!) even caught the attention of a few passers-by.

We like challenges (well...most of the time anyway) and do our very best to accommodate to the customer's request. Sometimes in the process, we surprise even ourselves with how the cupcakes turn out.

So, if you wish to see how we translate our next challenge theme: Rock, Guitar, Hippo....keep on reading.
